Breeds

I have bred poultry from a young age, I only breed from the best stock I can source and a lot of the breeds I keep are from my own bloodlines, some are 6th Generation so I do know what they are going to produce. I am not someone who has started overnight by going to the market and buying what is there just to sell on. I do buy hatching eggs, so I can rear the offspring myself. This ensures new blood is entering the breeds I keep and the offspring are as they should be, strong and correct. I started keeping poultry from a very young age, then I was given some pekins, from that moment on, I was hooked and now I have quite a few. All breeds are a pleasure to keep and all have their own personalities, they are all different in their own way.
